The gardens protect some 40 acres of cloud forest and rainforest around the banks of the La Paz River and its stunning waterfalls. Over two miles of hiking trails and viewing platforms run alongside the river and waterfalls, providing visitors with an incredible natural experience.Elsewhere at La Paz, the park boasts attractions, including a rescued wildlife sanctuary housing over 100 animals, including jungle cats, monkeys, snakes, sloths, frogs, birds, and more. There's also a replica of a historical Costa Rican rural home and a petting zoo featuring farm animals for the kids.
