Why Visit San Ramon?
The best reasons to come to San Ramon are to experience some rural charm and enjoy the cloud forests and nature. The most famous cloud forests in Costa Rica are in Monteverde, but the San Ramon area offers precisely the same but fewer crowds. Hiking, birdwatching, and horseback riding through the cloud forests are available here.
Below find some of our favorite reasons to come to San Ramon:
- Charming Costa Rican Flare: San Ramon is perfect if you want to experience a rural Costa Rican town. It's a charming little place.
- Villa Blanca: This is one of our favorite hotels in Costa Rica, part of the Greentique collection, which means it has excellent eco-credentials. Villa Blanca is a perfect spot to explore the El Silencio de Los Angeles Cloud Forest Reserve.
