It's a bustling community with many visitors, though it doesn't have the hype and mega-development of other similar towns. Indeed, most of the people who come to Sámara to soak up the sunshine on the golden sands are locals. This has allowed Sámara to keep a lot of its original charm.
The 74-bedroom Azura Beach Resort sits right outside of Sámara, on the way to Carrillo Beach.
