A High-End Destination in the Pacific

A High-End Destination in the Pacific

ā€œBienvenidosā€ to one of the most personal and high-end locations in all Guanacaste province. Papagayo is located on the north Pacific Coast of Costa Rica in the richly cultural province of Guanacaste. This piece of land was formed thousands of years ago from volcanic activity. Papagayo contains 15 miles of coastline and countless beaches.

The Papagayo Peninsula is full of things to do and places to be. Some of the most luxurious five-star hotels are located within Papagayo and have an array of uniquely designed villas and condos that can be rented. Papagayo attracts those looking for a place where adventure and relaxation collide.

Although the peninsula of Papagayo is under wide development, by government mandate, 70% of this land must remain untouched, making this a unique place to experience the commodities of modern life, nature, and wildlife. All developments within Papagayo undergo a thorough review process to ensure harmony with the surrounding ecosystem.

Experience the Pura Vida lifestyle while enjoying all the unique amenities of this gated community. Time to get out on the water; the marina is home to many yachts and charter boats ready for sportfishing or just a cruise. Are you looking for moving the body? Plenty of hiking trails, bike lanes, private beaches and pools, and the Arnold Palmer golf course can be found throughout the peninsula. Looking to focus on food and some R&R? There are plenty of restaurants, spas, and wellness centers to choose from.

Best Time to Travel to Papagayo

Best Time to Travel to Papagayo

Costa Rica has two main seasons: rainy and dry. The rainy season runs from May to November and the dry season from December to April.

Costa Rica experiences large amounts of rainfall during the rainy season, and the ocean becomes choppy. However, this season is good for the ecosystem since it rests from the dry season and allows the flora to regrow after long months under the hot sun.

The dry season is when the rain stops, and the sun comes out every day. Cold winds come down to Costa Rica from the north and help cool down the temperature. This breeze is comfortable and not too windy. The dry season is the recommended season to visit since you will never expect rain or a cloudy day.

Papagayo Weather

The weather in Papagayo ranges from 24 to 34 degrees Celsius or 75 to 93 degrees Fahrenheit. The amount of sun and precipitation that can be experienced depends on the time of year you will visit Papagayo. During the rainy season, expect lots of rainfall and choppy water in the ocean, and during the dry season, the sun will be out all day and a cool breeze. The weather is perfect for long days by the pool, fresh dips in the ocean, and many sporting activities, including fishing, snorkeling, and more.

Is Papagayo Safe?

Papagayo has extensive security precautions during entry and checks all guests that come and go. The district also has cameras throughout the development to ensure safety. In addition, guards work round the clock to make the community safe under any circumstances.
