Si Como No Resort Spa & Wildlife: A Charming Jungle Hotel

Si Como No Resort Spa & Wildlife Refuge is a Central Pacific coast hotel nestled in the jungle-covered hills above Manuel Antonio National Park. This stunning property blends seamlessly into its jungle hillside environment, allowing amazing rainforest or Pacific Ocean views from all rooms.
Proximity to nature is one of the hotel’s most fantastic attractions. The hotel is so committed to it that it removed only one tree from the hillside during Si Como No's construction.
Hence why, it’s possible to see sloths, playful monkeys, basilisk lizards, exotic birds like toucans, and more on the hotel’s grounds. The gardens teem with flowers as well. So sit back surrounded by the sounds of nature and admire the Pacific Ocean on the horizon.

In addition, the on-site wildlife refuge is excellent for wildlife enthusiasts who want to learn and see more species up close.
There are self-guided tours available to the butterfly botanical atrium, crocodile lagoon, and amphibian jungle. And don’t miss the popular after-dark time! Simply cross the street to the other side of the property, and you’re ready to explore.
Si Como No’s practices have been certified by the Costa Rican Tourism Board with a Level 5 CST (Certificate of Sustainable Tourism), the highest level available.

A Laid-Back Hotel for Nature-Lovers

If you want an authentic Costa Rica experience while still enjoying top-notch amenities, Si Como No is the place for you.
The hotel’s 58 guest rooms are distributed among ten separate areas within their 24-acre private wildlife refuge.
The charming guest rooms have rustic wooden accents and comfortable modern amenities that let you enjoy a peaceful ambiance that blends with the thriving rainforest outside. The rooms have no TVs to help you connect with your surroundings.
The well-maintained grounds and the view of the Pacific Ocean showcase the best Costa Rica has to offer. Connecting with nature is easy—All the nooks full of life and the carefully-designed landscape of the resort make Si Como No a place nature-lovers of all ages will enjoy.
Slow down, take a deep breath, and admire the natural beauty around you.

Dining in the Rainforest

There are two restaurants on-site that will have you covered for the day when it comes to top-notch dining. Both restaurants have varied menu options with local and international dishes, and chefs can adhere to dietary restrictions like gluten-free or other food allergies if needed.
Rico Tico offers a casual ambiance, and it even has live music some nights. In addition, it’s located next to the pool, so you can also have a bite poolside.
It’s open for all three meals of the day, and buffet breakfast is an experience full of favorites like Gallo pinto (rice and beans), pancakes, and pastries. The banana flambé fire show is one of the restaurant’s specialties, so make sure to try it if you want something sweet for dessert. Handmade ice cream is also available!
The other restaurant is Claro Que Sí and is open for lunch and dinner, a more elegant setting specializing in seafood and wine. The sangria, daiquiris, and margaritas are highlighted during a meal or fight off the heat in the afternoons.

Family-Friendly Ambiance

Si Como No has not just a focus on nature but also on culture.
In addition to the detail-oriented service, Si Como No offers a variety of amenities for travelers of all types. Families with small children will love the hotel’s THX cinema, located on one lower floor. Every night there are different movies, and groups can book the room for private showings.
To take your relaxing vacation a step further, book a massage or body treatment at Cala Spa to rejuvenate both body and mind.
Alternatively, visit the art gallery to admire the work of local artists and learn more about Costa Rica’s current culture. Finally, if you want to buy a souvenir, stop by the gift shop to get locally-made products as well.
Some prefer to lounge at the pool, and some want to cannonball into it. This is why Si Como No offers two pool areas that will keep both groups entertained.
The kid-friendly pool has a waterslide that is a success among younger guests and is an ideal place for kids to meet other kids and make friends. The pool also has a swim-up bar and ocean views.
The other pool features a jacuzzi and a swim-up bar as well. Take a refreshing dip in the water while sipping on a cocktail. The Jacuzzi is perfect for soothing any sore muscles while you relax in the warm water.

Visit Manuel Antonio Beach

Since it is perched on the hills of the Central Pacific coastline, Si Como No has no direct access to the beach.
Take advantage of the hotel’s complimentary shuttle service to Manuel Antonio Beach to experience one of the area’s most significant landmarks. The hotel even provides the beach towels; you simply hop on the van and head out in search of the sun and ocean.
