<h2><strong>Welcome to Bougainvillea Hotel&nbsp;</strong></h2><p>The Bougainvillea Hotel is a peaceful family-owned hotel with friendly staff, just a 30-minute drive from the San José airport. Ten acres of beautiful, well-kept gardens overlook the valley and nearby coffee plantations. There are 50 species of Bromeliad native trees, a variety of orchids, herbs, cactus, and a frog pond.</p><p>Bougainvillea Hotel is Certified Sustainable Level 4 CST certificate through the Costa Rican Tourism Board.</p><h3><strong>Beautiful Surroundings</strong></h3><p>The hotel is a birdwatcher's heaven as you can spot some of the hard-to-find white-eared ground sparrows and sometimes even the Prevost’s ground sparrow! A hotel is an excellent option for anyone seeking a comfortable, unique, and authentic first or last night in Costa Rica, surrounded by the Central Valley countryside! The frog ponds were specially designed to help preserve the endangered "coffee frog."</p><h3><strong>Solid Amenities</strong></h3><p>Bougainvillea Hotel has 81 rooms with either garden or city views and is decorated with local art and Costa Rican pottery.&nbsp;</p><p>All the rooms have flat-screen cable TV, WiFi, coffeemaker, ceiling fan, and a balcony. The suites have an additional living area with a sofa, mini-fridge, and a more oversized balcony.</p><p>There is a solar-heated swimming pool and sauna with loungers and phones to order a snack or drink from the restaurant, a well-equipped gym, two tennis courts, and massage rooms. The hotel also has five conference/event rooms, with the largest holding up to 120 people.</p><p>The hotel has one restaurant and bar offering a variety of international Costa Rican cuisine and drinks. Breakfast will not be included in the rate.</p>

<p>Wow!!! All I can say is that this trip was amazing. It was an incredible experience from beginning to end. The scenery in this country is beautiful and breathtaking. So much to learn about the continental divide and diversity of the plant and tree life in this beautiful lush rainforest. The volcano in Arenal was amazing. The scenery changed every minute literally. Emma Lasiuk was the reason we decided to take this vacation. I told her what I was looking for and she gave me and my wife everything I wanted and more.</p>

Indiana Jones returns to Paradise

<p>Lucia Passuello of Costa Rican Vacations provided us with a perfect vaction! As a family of two adults and two teens, our wishes were to experience Costa Rican culture, view animals and birds in the wild, hike a volcano and attend a Heredia soccer match. Lucia created the perfect itinerary, and we could not have been more pleased. Her locations and hotel selections were fantastic and the tours exceptional. We cannot wait to give her our next round of wishes and return!</p>
