Best Time to Travel to Rio Perdido
The best time to travel to Bagaces is during the dry season (from December to April) to get the most out of your trip. It will rarely rain during the dry season, and all the rivers and streams and hiking trails will be in optimal conditions.
The rainy season is better to avoid due to hard rains that may get in the way of doing outdoor tours such as zip-lining and water tubing.

How to Get to Bagaces
Bagaces is a 25-minute drive from Liberia and the Liberia International airport. It is also a four-hour drive from San Jose and the Juan Santamaria International airport. Liberia can also be reached via charter planes and a short drive from Liberia to Bagaces. Bagaces is located inland on the international highway.
