 This day tour shows you the notable landmarks of the
Boquete area, including a local cafe, a coffee farm, a private flower garden and
a walk of the Boquete Fair Grounds.
Start at the "Mirador de la Virgen", the entrance of
the town of Boquete named in honor of the Virgin Mary's
altar erected there. From this point you値l enjoy a spectacular view of
the entire Boquete Valley.
You will also find here the Kotowa Coffee Shop, an
excellent coffee shop where you値l taste the delicious Kotowa Coffee.
The word "Kotowa" in
the Guaimi native language means mountain. You will also be able
to purchase ground coffee and coffee grains for your enjoyment or for souvenirs.
Tour of Cafe Ruiz
At Cafe Ruiz they値l explain the process of making coffee, the toasting,
grinding and packing. At their cafeteria you値l be able to enjoy a delicious cup
of coffee along with delicious snacks. You値l also be able
to purchase coffee, grounded or in grains, for your enjoyment or for souvenirs.
This tour lasts approx 1.5 hrs.
Mi Jardin es Su Jardin
This is a private garden that belongs to the Gonzalez family where you値l be
able to observe most of the flowers that are grown in Boquete. This tour lasts
aprox. 1 hr.
Scenic Driving Tour
This tour is done on the flanks of the
mountains that go around the town of Boquete. Here you値l see the different
crops in the area including many coffee plantations. Lasts approx. 1 hr.
Boquete Fair Grounds
On the banks of the Caldera River, in downtown Boquete is the location of the grounds where the Boquete Fair of Coffee and
Flowers is celebrated on mid-January. During the year its doors are open,
turning into a beautiful park where people can enjoy a nice walk. Tour lasts aprox. 1 hr.
