Rumble and The Jungle

Hear the rumble of the magnificent
Arenal volcano, then venture into Costa Rica's rainforest...a
one-two punch that is one of our most popular vacations.
 Day 1: Fly
to the San Jose international airport. Upon arrival you will be
met by one of our representatives, at which point your itinerary
will be explained and questions answered. You will also be
provided with a packet of vouchers and information about your
trip. From the
airport you will be transported to
Hotel Alta. Only minutes
away from the bustling city of Escazu and the typical Costa Rican town of Santa Ana,
Hotel Alta is a wonderful Spanish Colonial stay with continental
Breakfast included.
Day 2: Your journey to the Arenal Volcano begins today as you
take a transport to the
Arenal Lodge (approx. 3 hrs.). Be sure to make time to
get face to face with La Fortuna waterfalls, it is a truly
breathtaking sight. Back at the
Arenal Lodge, which is
located on 2,000 acres of private rainforests, full of exotic
animal and plant life, you will have a chance to enjoy
dinner at the lodges' restaurant and then relax in one of three
Jacuzzis while watching the sunset behind the Arenal Volcano.
 Day 3: River Rafting on Rio Toro (all day)
Ride class III and IV rapids down the Rio Toro while enjoying the
beautiful surrounding nature.
The trip includes transportation, lunch, a bilingual guide, and all
equipment.
Day 4: Take a private
transfer to San Jose via Interbus. Stay at
Hotel Alta.
Day 5: Transfer to airport for your domestic flight to Palma Sur. Stay at
Aguila de Osa Inn.
Spacious hardwood cabins, cathedral ceilings, Italian-tiled
bathrooms, spectacular Pacific views, native leather rockers
on roomy front porches, and Costa Rican coffee in insulated carafes
delivered before dawn await you.
 Day 6 & 7: Dolphin Tour and Corcovado Hike or Cano Island tour on these days.
Day 8: Fly to San Jose, transfer to
Hotel Alta.
Visit the most big and lively city of Costa Rica or just relax in
the pool.
Day 9: Transfer to airport.
International flight home.
